From September 20 to 23, the German capital will be the hotspot for the global rail industry. The contributions are: Highly innovative multi-system solutions, which make transportation of people and freight by rail more reliable and more connected, safer, and cleaner, more comfortable, and more efficient. The various solutions are interdependent; they complement, intensify, and reinforce each other– in Hall 1.2, Booth 250.

All this can be achieved through Smart Solutions based on networkable sub-systems, functionalities, services, and applications that can be tailored to individual requirements.
Knorr-Bremse’s Ecological Footprint solution space makes green rail transportation even greener with innovations for reduced energy consumption or the recyclability of its vehicle systems and components. By showcasing, for example, climate control systems that are as efficient as they are clean, not to mention the paradigm-shifting air supply systems.

Knorr-Bremse is focusing on Train Operations & Maintenance with intelligent process optimization, improved availability, and extended lifecycles. Remote diagnostics and predictive maintenance are key examples of this.
The Traffic Flow solution area includes products and systems that increase availability, reduce delays, and contribute to a smoother flow of passengers and optimized freight transport. These include Reproducible Braking Distance, faster and wider entrance systems, and the Digital Freight Train.
The main presence of the Knorr-Bremse Group will be in Hall 1.2, Booth 250, where the Group brands Merak, Evac, Selectron, Kiepe Electric, IFE and Microelettrica are united. But the Company will also be found elsewhere: Energy, Signaling Systems and Traffic Management Systems specialist Zelisko will be presenting its products in Hall 25, Booth 120. Kiepe Electric can be found in the bus display in the “Sommergarten”. Microelettrica and Cometfans are exhibiting in Hall 5.2, Booth 700. Rail Vision, Knorr-Bremse’s partner for rail vehicle obstacle detection systems will be in Hall 9, at Booth 455.
Additionally, Knorr-Bremse is making a guest appearance at Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking in Hall 27, Booth 511 and have a joint presence with Evac and Merak in the Deutsche Bahn “Ideas Train” in front of the South Entrance.
