Rail Day: We will open our doors for a guided factory tour.

Berlin is a city where tradition meets modern technology – and where Knorr-Bremse GmbH has its roots. The original company was founded by engineer Georg Knorr back in 1905. Since then, Knorr-Bremse AG has evolved to become the global market leader in braking systems and a leading supplier of safety-critical subsystems for rail and commercial vehicles, with more than 100 sites worldwide. In recent years, the company has boosted the Berlin plant’s production capacity by 54% and set up a state-of-the-art Service Center.

To mark Tag der Schiene 2024 (Rail Day 2024), the Berlin plant – which employs around 1,200 people – will open its gates to give you an insight into the world of high-tech brake disc production. You can find out how RailServices Training Academy uses innovative learning methods like CT2 (Computerized Train Console for Training) to take theoretical courses to a whole new level. We’ll introduce you to our aftermarket activities under the “2024RailServices” umbrella, and you can explore our innovative train entrance systems and the many benefits of our digital products.

Book your place on our guided factory tour on September 20, 2024 – ensure you don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of the world’s leading manufacturer of rail vehicle braking systems!
