Knorr-Bremse Rail Systems UK are proud to support several initiatives through Local Care which are beneficial to the community in which we operate.
We provide funding for our local football club Melksham Town, who, in turn, support more than one hundred boy’s and girl’s youth teams. Local Care support is also provided to the Wiltshire Air Ambulance, with regular employee fundraising focus and events. The company has also recently funded a redevelopment and planting scheme which has transformed a previous area of wasteland adjacent to a major road route into Melksham located near to the town’s railway station, for which it received a ‘Civic Award’ from Melksham Town Council.
