(formerly Icer-Rail, S.L.) was founded in 2010 as a joint venture between the Spanish Berkelium Group and Knorr-Bremse Group and currently it is fully owned by the Knorr-Bremse Group since 2016. Today, it is one of the world's leading manufacturers' company of friction materials for rail vehicles. It is based in Pamplona, Spain and the company is active in the development and production of organic brake linings and brake shoes as well as the development and production of sintered friction elements for the railway sector. These products are applied in the railway network of Renfe,EuskoTren, Feve, or the metro lines of Madrid, Seville or Bilbao, but mainly Knorr-Bremse supply to customers worldwide.
