Rail Day: We will open our doors for a guided factory tour.

Berlin is a city where tradition meets modern technology – and where Knorr-Bremse GmbH has its roots. The original company was founded by engineer Georg Knorr back in 1905. Since then, Knorr-Bremse AG has evolved to become the global market leader in braking systems and a leading supplier of safety-critical subsystems for rail and commercial vehicles, with more than 100 sites worldwide. In recent years, the company has boosted the Berlin plant’s production capacity by 54% and set up a state-of-the-art Service Center.

To mark Tag der Schiene 2025 (Rail Day 2025), the Berlin plant – which employs around 1,200 people – will open its gates to give you an insight into the world of high-tech brake disc production.

Book your place on our guided factory tour on September 19, 2025 – ensure you don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of the world’s leading manufacturer of rail vehicle braking systems!
