Signalling and traffic management systems, energy distribution: underpinning mobility.
Whatever the location, mobility must be both safe and as efficient as possible. Signalling and traffic management systems are indispensable to delivering these requirements as well as energy distribution. Every day, these cleverly coordinated, interconnected systems ensure smooth operation of a wide range of processes, from platform allocation in stations or signalling technology on high-speed lines to on-board computers and ticket printers on mass transit buses and to instrument transformers for reliable energy distribution.
Cutting-edge Technology Backed up by Decades of Experiencepassenger transport
The three divisions of Lower Austrian company Dr. techn. Josef Zelisko, Fabrik für Elektrotechnik und Maschinenbau GmbH develop and produce signalling systems for rail infrastructure, mass passenger transport traffic management systems, and an extensive portfolio of instrument transformers and sensors for the energy industry. Zelisko’s blend of cutting-edge technology backed up by decades of experience makes it the full-line supplier of choice.
The most important products are developed and manufactured on the basis of CENELEC in the highest safety classification (SIL4). This means the lowest possible risk of an accident due to technical failure, for example at a signal-based railway crossing. Zelisko proves to be a reliable partner until the approval for use and commissioning.
A Full Signalling Systems Portfolio
The portfolio includes almost all products and systems from the field of railway safety technology: complete computer-controlled systems for securing railway crossings and track signals in LED technology. More than 65,000 LED light points currently secure railway lines worldwide. Added to this is the comprehensive support of track operators from planning, construction, installation and commissioning to ongoing maintenance.
Zelisko develops current and voltage transformers for indoor and outdoor applications with maximum operating voltages of 52 kV and rated currents of up to 50 kA. Our automatic APG epoxy resin casting process delivers a particularly important competitive advantage for customers, as do our metal-clad voltage transformers and cable type, low-power and generator current transformers.
Future Power Distribution Technology
The company also develops a wide range of smart grid sensors for the medium-voltage secondary distribution grids of the future. Zelisko can draw on a wealth of process engineering and measurement technology experience to develop solutions for all kinds of applications.
Highly complex operating processes require sophisticated individual solutions. For this reason, the Traffic Management Systems division has been developing innovative products and solutions for and together with customers for many years.
Elaborate Mobile Solutions
As a general contractor, Zelisko offers turnkey system solutions from conception and project planning to installation and commissioning. Key advantages are modern on-board computer and ticket printer solutions, the open system platforms and the flexible and scalable back-office software solutions. Far more than 10,000 Zelisko ticket printers or on-board computers work for your customers every day.
