Supporting Safer Communities through Education.
At Knorr-Bremse, safety has always been at the heart of what we do. That’s why we’re proud to announce our advancement to Silver-level partnership with Rail Safe Friendly (RSF) — a national initiative focused on educating young people about the dangers and responsibilities of staying safe around the railway.
RSF delivers tailored safety education to schools across the UK, helping pupils understand how to stay safe around railway infrastructure. As part of our Silver-level support, up to 90 schools will be reached through our partnership, contributing to an estimated £2.52 million in social value (based on figures from the Rail Social Value Toolkit).
Knorr-Bremse is committed to doing our part. Our support helps deliver vital education to schools near our operations and customer locations — and we’ll also be encouraging our teams to get involved through awareness activities and outreach.
This partnership builds on our Bronze-level involvement last year and reflects our growing commitment to the communities we serve. Through continued collaboration with RSF and Learn Live, we aim to support even more schools and students in 2025.
