This year, our focus is on one of the rail industry’s persistent operational challenges: Adhesion Management. Low adhesion - whether caused by seasonal leaf fall or year-round contaminants on the railhead - continues to impact safety, train performance and system capacity cross the network.
At the forefront of our display will be our Sand Flow Detection technology, using service proven component from the Knorr-Bremse catalogue designed to warn when sand flow does not meet demand. By monitoring sand flow in real time, operators can be confident that their adhesion management systems are functioning effectively when they’re needed most.
