This season, Knorr-Bremse is proud to support Chippenham Town Football Club as a new official sponsor, in a partnership that reflects shared values of community, professionalism, and growth.
For a club like Chippenham, support like this is game-changing.
“It’s massive,” says Darren Perrin, the club’s Secretary. “The profile of the club moves up a level. Financially it helps save money, but more importantly, it supports so many people going forward.”
The relationship began when Darren reached out to Knorr-Bremse’s Gill Inman, a connection born from previous years of working together at Melksham Town FC. From there, it grew quickly.
“Gill was a credit to the company, and Alexander [Price] was the same when he came to the club for the photo shoot. They’ve both been a joy to work with.”
The sponsorship provides direct support for the club's operations and visibility. The Knorr-Bremse logo is now a proud part of training kits, pre-match warmups, arrival gear for home and away games, and promotional materials. It’s a presence felt across every matchday, online and in person.
“It makes the players look more professional. It lifts the image of the club in every way.”
But the value goes deeper than the kits or banners. It’s about the connection between a business and the people it supports, a commitment to investing in grassroots sport, regional identity, and shared pride.
“Knorr-Bremse are the best company I’ve dealt with in football,” Darren says. “Honest, straight, trustworthy, and they expect the same level of professionalism from the clubs they support. Class people, class company. Thank you, KB.”
